Thanks for raising awareness that many cases of cancer are preventable. Currently 80 to 95 percent of cancers are considered to have an environmental component. A few free resources for those looking at both a cancer prevention diet and how to avoid cancer causing chemicals. The American Institute for Cancer Research has an excellent site complete with many recipes featuring cancer prevention foods at www.aicr.org. Also, for those concerned about chemicals in products they use after the recent release of the Silent Spring study, the environmental working group has ranked several thousand products with regards to safety and can be found at www.safecosmetics.org.
